TUESDAY MORNING POWER OUTAGE (5/15/2012):

The Knoxville Utilities Board was working this morning on High Voltage lines along Neyland Drive in relation to the Henley Street Bridge project when one of the conductors broke and fell across the lines that serve Min-Kao, SEFR, Dabney/Buehler, South College and Ayres. They cleared the short circuit in a matter of a few minutes and power was restored. Facility Services crews went to all of the affected buildings and verified that the power was back on and that all systems returned to normal.
