Carpentry/Cabinetry Services
Carpentry and Cabinetry Services is responsible for providing structural maintenance and renovation services in all buildings on the Main and Agriculture campuses. Carpentry and Cabinetry has two areas of responsibility, carpentry and custom woodworking.

Overview: Carpentry Services provides a diverse range of services directed both toward special projects and routine maintenance and upgrading of facilities. Services provided include: building or demolishing walls; installing or removing windows and doors; repairing floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and doors; forming, pouring, and refinishing concrete walks, steps, and retaining walls; laying blocks, brick, and stone; and repairing roofs/ installing shingle roofs.
The Custom Woodworking Section provides complete custom woodworking services directed both toward special projects and routine upgrading of facilities, employing skilled crafts personnel. Services available include: picture frames and bulletin boards; bookcases and bookshelves; cabinets, counters, counter tops, molding and other architectural finishes; tables and equipment stands; and build-in or custom designed desks, credenzas, and other equipment.
Accessibility for the Disabled: The Facilities Services Department coordinates curb cuts in streets and sidewalks; installation of ramps, lever handles, visual alarm systems and other devices; and construction or maintenance services required for appropriate accessibility for the disabled. The Executive Director is a member of the various campus committees which generally oversee accessibility for disabled individuals. Custom Made Projects: The Custom Woodworking Section of Carpentry Services has full custom furniture design and fabrication capability, and provides refinishing services for both painted and stained surfaces. These services are provided at the expense of the requesting unit, except for regular maintenance and upgrading of facilities. Requests for services are made through the "Special Projects Work Request Form"
(PP-28 Form).
Roof Leaks- Report Immediately! Report roof leaks by calling the Facilities Services Work Order Department at 974-2347. If the leak is serious or endangering equipment, additionally notify Carpentry Services at 974-6669
